ACACIA

"After living in our Pepper Pike home for thirty eight years we decided it was time for us to make a change. Acacia Estates felt really right for us and was exactly what we were looking for. We loved the idea of having the Metro Park in our backyard. We enjoy sitting outside on our deck in the evening to watch the sunset and beautiful scenery. We also love the location because it is so convenient and close to the highway, for shopping and dining out.

Our building experience with Pat Perrino and his entire staff went extremely smooth. They were very helpful very helpful and hands on with everything. The quality of our home is top notch. Over the course of the last year and a half we have become very close with our new neighbors who are very kind and are now our great friends.

The Perrino staff is a one-stop-shop from building your home as well as helping you with all of your decor and furnishings. Pat Perrino was wonderful to work with and we wanted to thank him for everything he has done for us. We love our new home and are very happy!"

"We feel as if we're on vacation all the time.

That's one reason Ellen and I love our new home and neighborhood in Acacia Estates. Acacia is a hidden gem- a beautiful, quiet oasis in the midst of everything. Cleveland's MetroPark Acacia Reservation provides 155 acres of natural green space abutting our neighborhood, an area that will remain forever undeveloped. We take advantage of the miles of walking paths, are amazed by the colorful sunsets, and enjoy watching dozens of species of birds as well as deer, rabbits, and even a pair of mink!

As our neighborhood fills in, we also have been thrilled to get to know new neighbors, some transplants from out of state, others who relocated in Northeast Ohio. Backgrounds, ages and personalities are diverse, but the feeling of community is universal.

Our Perrino home, which we customized to fit our personalities and life style, allows us to enjoy all of this. It's a beautiful house with warm and welcoming rooms and plenty of space for entertaining indoors and out.

And all of this within walking distance to shopping and restaurants at Legacy Village, La Place, and Beachwood Mall - and only a mile to the entrance of I-271.

I could write more, but a magnificent sunset call. The bottom line: We couldn't be more pleased with our decision to build our new home at Acacia Estates."

TESTIMONIALS

""Well how do you like your new house?" This was the first question our friends and family would ask after we moved to Acacia Estates in Lyndhurst. Without hesitation our answer was, "We love it! We love the house, the location, our neighbors, everything!" This was saying a lot after living in an architecturally beautiful home in Shaker Heights for nearly twenty years.

When my husband and I decided it was time to downsize, he wanted to stay close to the city and not have to worry about yard maintenance any longer. I wanted something newer with one floor living and some green space. We thought the only solution was to move to a condominium until we came upon Acacia Estates.

Acacia Estates is a small home owners association that shares its western boundary with Acacia Reservation, the newest acquisition to the Cleveland MetroParks system. Half of the lots have this beautiful park just across the property line! It was almost too good to be true. Close to the city! Lots of green space! A Home Owner's Association to care for the grounds and an opportunity to build a new home by a quality builder, Pat Perrino!

That was a year and a half ago. Today we live in a beautiful home with an awesome view. Looking out my two story great room window or relaxing on my sun porch, I see acres of trees, wild flowers, and a walking path that meanders through the fields and around the ponds. It's hard to believe this peaceful retreat is within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the interstate!

Our builder, Pat Perrino has mastered a unique way of blending the fresh look of today with old world charm. He and his craftsman helped to fulfill our vision by adding some of those architectural details that we were leaving behind in our Shaker Heights home. Those who framed the house didn't just add arches to the second floor loft, they mirrored the detailed arch of the custom made front door! Pat's finishing carpenters were masters at adding exceptional detail to bookcases, columns, and a custom bar. Those who laid tile and flooring, the painters, and all of the craftsmen who built our home took pride in their work and it shows. Everyone who has come to our home wants to live here!

When asked if I would do it again? I respond, Yes! For me it was a great experience. Working with the Perrino Design Team gave me confidence in my choices and made the process enjoyable with less stress. They helped me stay true to my vision and offered many resources from lighting to home furnishings that made our dream house a reality."

"The first three rules of real estate are: 1) Location, 2) Location, and 3) Location.

Living in a new home built by Perrino Builders in Acacia Estates along the eastern margin of the Acacia Reservation, we have nailed all three!

First: Location- We have immediate access to a wonderful new part of Cleveland MetroParks. We are next door neighbors to a nature preserve, watching the unfolding MetroParks' impressive long-term restoration plan.

Second: Location- We have a short walk on paths through a nature preserve to the restaurants and shops of Beachwood Place, La Place, and Legacy Village.

Third: Location- We are minutes away from I-271 for fast access to the surrounding region, but we are shielded from highway noise by a development between us and the highway.

In unique homes built by Perrino to meet the individual needs and tastes of the homeowners, it seems like everyone here in Acacia Estates is busy patting themselves on the back for making a good decision on where to build a home.

"I am very happy living in my new home in the Acacia development. It is a prime location not to mention the close proximity to the park. The park is a real gem with wonderful walking trails that I enjoy through much of the year. My home was well constructed by talented tradespeople. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful with many lovely people moving in. Acacia is a great place to call home."
