Our Unique Process

Phase ONe

It begins at our inspirational showroom; a casual meeting to understand you and your family's expectations in a new home and community. We want to see all of your ideas and hear about your day to day life and how we can make it better. Building a custom home is exciting and often a once in a lifetime experience -- we want to know what you can't stand and what you can't live without. We strongly encourage a walk through of one of our model homes.

From here, we will assist you in picking out the ideal community for your family and the floor plan that suites you. We can show you the many homes we have completed to inspire you. We will work with you to identify a budget and show you the options in building your custom home. ​

PHASE TWO

Our design build process takes our customers from general ideas to a fully custom designed set of plans.  After gathering all the necessary survey work ranging from topography to tree surveying, we will begin working with our architects and designers to put together a set of plans that fits your property and your needs.  We work in stages from preliminary floor plan layout, to custom exterior elevation design,  to a full construction set of plans. We will provide our cost of building your new home within two weeks.

PHASE THREE

Once you approve the architectural plans and the final pricing, the contract will include the specifications, and time to complete the home. We will send you to one of our preferred lenders, to provide you with your lot and construction loans.

After financing is approved, we quickly begin acquiring permits and getting our designs approved. At this time, you will meet with your construction manager to get oriented what to expect throughout the complete process.

Phase FOUR

We will set up a selection schedule which will include a timetable for when certain selections are due. We have a very strong team of experts, including ASID Certified Interior Designers. They will assist you during the selection process and help make this time creative, fun, and easy all at our one-stop-shop designer showroom.

Our clients are always connected to our mobile app, which allows you to be a direct part of all phases of construction. "Builder Trend" is an interactive cloud-based program, that allows you to make requests, as well as follow the construction process of your home at all times.  This app keeps you informed of the status of your home from start to finish. 

PHASE FIVE

As the construction process begins, you are finally able to see your dream become a reality! Regardless of the scope of work, our job supervisors are always available to answer questions and provide solutions. Once the job has been completed and cleaned up, we do a walk-through with you to make sure that everything has turned out just as you envisioned.

Throughout the construction process you will work with our certified interior designers to finalize your home furnishing selections, furniture layout and room design.  

Finally the long-awaited day has arrived! You move into your new custom home and make it your own.

PHASE six

Customer service is our first priority. Once the project has been completed, we continue to make ourselves available for questions and concerns. We also provide you with a warranty on our workmanship, and where applicable, product warranties transfer to you.
